September Supper Club - Mediterranean Fish Night - Friday 29th September @ 7.30pm

For our September supper club we've been fishing in the Mediterranean for some new original recipes. We'll be serving carefully selected wine flights from different European countries too. Regulars are always hooked by our fish nights so don't flounder, get your skates on, and book a plaice early!

Can't find a babysitter or busy that night? Why not "supper club at home". We'll prepare and box up everything for you so that you can play chef in your own kitchen. Book for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Email for more details.

Friday 30th June - Supper Club Yorkshire "Meats" Argentina The best of Yorkshire ingredients in typical Argentinian dishes brought together by proper Yorkshire chefs!! Optional Malbec tasting flight too.

Friday 14th July - Ladies Night. A night (end of term celebration for Mum's?) of cocktails, tapas and laughter. Steve from Harrogate Tipple will be joining us to make gin and rum cocktails, Yorkshire tapas will keep you nourished and fun will most definitely be on the cards.

Saturday 15th July - BBQ & Gin day We're hoping for sunshine but if not we will have a Gin and Beer tent where you can drown your sorrows! More details to follow...

Saturday 6th May - York Brewery will be joining us to sample their award winning beers which have been brewed within the walls of York for over 40 years.

15th to 21st of May is National Vegetarian Week. Our specials that week may convince even the biggest carnivore to have a "Meat free Monday"!

Saturday 20th May - Bad Co. Brewery will be on hand to sample their American inspired but Yorkshire produced craft beers.

Friday 26th May - The Champagne Concept Supper Club Laurence from The Champagne Concept in Harrogate will join us to bring you 4 fantastic champagnes which we will match to a 5 course menu to remember. Will sell out fast so book today. £50 a head.

You'll be hungry for success: excited by what we've already achieved at The Local Pantry, and keen to be part of the future. You'll also be committed to learning all about our products and food so that you can bring our brand offer to life and - by inspiring your team and your customers to drive sales and create loyalty.

This is a hands on role and will involve such responsibilities as opening and closing the shop, cash handling, banking, team management, stock control & ordering as well as product ranging and shop management.

The local pantry is a great place to work and is a thriving business. We offer sociable working hours, meals whilst on duty, a 40% discount on all produce and you will also be entitled to 28 days' holiday.

To help blast away those January blues we are celebrating Burns Night with a carefully crafted and locally sourced supper menu, incorporating traditional Scottish fare with a Yorkshire twist. Hailing from Scotland Rob, our chef, will go back to his roots while making the most of our great Yorkshire ingredients.

It will be a relaxed evening with a simple menu of sausagey goodness over 2 or 3 courses.

On the night we will also be asking you to help choose the Local Pantry Sausage which will become part of our on-going product range depending upon which you vote for as the best.
